What is Physiotherapy

The aim of physiotherapy is to help restore normal movement and function by reducing pain and stiffness. Physiotherapy includes the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of a patient's progress. Physiotherapy uses manual therapy techniques, exercise programs, and electrotherapy techniques to treat musculoskeletal injuries (such as back and neck pain or sports injuries), neurological conditions (such as stroke), and chest conditions (such as asthma, bronchitis or pneumonia). A physiotherapist works to improve your mobility and health and to reduce the risk of injuries.

Aim of Physiotherapy

Our aim is to reduce pain and discomfort and to restore our patients' health to the optimum level of function during activities of daily living. This is achieved by working on all the body systems and by implementing treatment techniques based on an individual assessment. We also aim to educate our patients about their condition, the treatment, and future injury prevention.
